Claims work, in the words your team already uses
Zephyro ships an insurance template. Work is a Case, cases group under a Claim, and the stages are the ones a claim actually passes through.
- New
- Under Review
- Pending Info
- Approved
- Denied
- Closed
What usually goes wrong
A general tracker calls a claim a task, has no stage for “waiting on documents”, and keeps the policy number in a comment. So the real state of a claim lives in somebody's inbox, and the number the system reports is a week behind the truth.
What the template gives you
Work named Case, grouped under Claims. Stages: new, under review, pending information, approved or denied, closed. Departments for claims, underwriting, customer service and legal, already configured. All of it renameable the day you disagree with any of it.
What changes
Nothing waits in a stage that does not exist, so “pending documents” becomes a column instead of a habit. Mark the policy number required and it is enforced on every write — including through the API, where a generic tool would let it through.
