A broad platform gives you a great many ways to arrange things and one vocabulary underneath. Zephyro inverts that: fewer surfaces, and the naming, the stages and the required fields are yours per type of work — enforced on the server, so the rule holds for the API and an AI assistant as much as for the interface.
What both do
Boards, tables, custom fields, roles, automation of some kind, and a place for every team to see its work. Both are perfectly capable of running a department.
When Monday is the right answer
If you want one platform covering many unrelated departments, a large template gallery to browse, and an established ecosystem of integrations you can pick from today, that breadth is worth paying for and Zephyro does not match it yet.
When Zephyro is
When one process matters enough to be modelled exactly, in its own words. When right-to-left has to be the product rather than a translation. When you want Claude connected to the workspace with your own permissions. And when the answer to “can we add a stage” should be yes, today, without an administrator.
